Escape to Wales in April 2020
Time & Location
About the Event
Eat. Sleep. Yoga. Retreat.
A yoga retreat is an ideal way to escape the day to day ‘busy-ness’ and take some time to rest and restore. It is also a great opportunity to deepen your connection to your Yoga practice or to start one from new. The Yoga House is a perfect base for enjoying some yoga as well as having access to the beautiful Welsh coast for walking or maybe a dip in the sea.
Accomodation is 5 star and numbers are kept to a minimum for the weekend (max 12 people). Room options start from £395 for 4 days, you can find more information below. All meals are prepared by Linda, a fabulous cook and our host at Yoga House. Meals are vegetarian but we can usually accommodate any diet if given notice when booking. We promise you will not go hungry!
The Retreat is suitable for all levels but do get in touch with any concerns around health or movement so that we can touch base beforehand. Check out Yoga House Wales for more information and photos of this beautiful home!

How to get there?
The Yoga House at Glandŵr is in the small village of Tresaith on the west Wales coast of Ceredigion, overlooking Cardigan Bay and the Irish Sea.
Trains and buses.
The nearest train stations are Carmarthen and Aberystwyth with their connections to the rest of Wales and beyond. Both stations are about 1 hour’s drive away by car.
There are bus connections from Carmarthen and Aberystwyth to our nearest market town, Cardigan, and thence from Cardigan to Tresaith. We can also arrange a mini bus from Carmarthen or Aberystwyth for an extra cost.
By car from the south, take the M4 and A48 to Carmarthen, then follow the A484 to Cardigan. Bear northwards in Cardigan along the A487 for some 15 minutes, then the B4333 for Aberporth at the Gogerddan Junction. At Aberporth bear right for just over a mile, following signposts to Tresaith. You will descend a hill into Tresaith. Just before the bottom of the hill our driveway will be on the right, marked by a large sign for Glandŵr.
By car from the north, follow routes to Aberystwyth in mid Wales, then the A484 southwards to Cardigan via Aberaeron and Synod Inn. Ignore the first signpost for Tresaith, continue driving until the next major crossroads at Gogerddan Junction. At Gogerddan bear right to Aberporth along the B4333. At Aberporth bear right for just over a mile, following signposts to Tresaith. You will descend a hill into Tresaith.
